Many of you in the DC Metro area know Eric Huss. He was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer.  We are putting on a charity game to support The Washington Ice Dogs in his honor.  Even if you don’t know Eric please consider donating to this fantastic cause in honor of one of our hockey brothers.

Below is a link to help me collect information.  The event was held March 28th from 10am to noon on the Patrick rink at The Gardens Ice House in Laurel.  It was a fantastic skate. The raffles were all heavily contested which made for some fun.

The marquee raffle of the ANY STICK you want from the pro shop brought in nearly $700!

The three silent auctions, the signed jersey from the Caps brought $750, the bottle of whiskey from the CB Warriors got a whopping $1000, and the Whitey’s Pond rental from the Gardens $350.

All in all the event raised $10,000 for the Ice Dogs in Erics name. This could not have happened without your support!

Here is a link to the donation page supporting this event. Please use this for donations so we can keep track of how much we raised. Feel free to share this with anyone! We will keep this link up for a little bit longer.
