Mentor Registration

Ice Dogs mentors are between the ages of 13-17. Mentors help run practice by taking players through on-ice drills or work with players who need one-on-one support. Mentors can receive Student Service Learning credits for their volunteer hours. If you are 18 years+ at the time of registration, you will register as a coach.

If you’re ready to register, please complete the form below and all of the steps listed (USA Hockey, ASHA, etc.) When you have completed all of the steps, you will receive a confirmation email from us.

Washington Ice Dogs

The Washington Ice Dogs were founded in 1999 to give children and young adults with developmental disabilities the opportunity to play ice hockey. With the encouragement and support of our friends at the Gardens Ice House in Laurel, MD, we skate every Saturday morning from October through March.
